Friday, November 7th

8:00 : Andy Looney's 11 Game Design Principles – Interested in designing a game of your own? Curious about what makes a good game vs. one that’s not so great? Come hear Andy Looney, Chief Designer of Looney Labs, explain his 11 principles of game design!

11:00 : Meet Andrew Looney, Kristin Looney and Alison “Looney” Frane – the team behind Looney Labs! Learn how the company started, how they faced their early challenges, what they’re doing now, and where they plan to go from here. Rabbit ears and tie-dye optional.

Saturday, November 8th

Noon : Mysteries of the Chrononauts Timeline – Ever wonder how the 32 events were chosen for Chrononauts? Ever wonder why, when events are reversed, the timeline changes the way it does? Come hear Andy explain the theories behind the game.

4:00 PM : Running a Small Game Company – Kristin Looney, the Business Czar of Looney Labs (otherwise known as She Who Makes Things Happen) expounds on the many things you need to know in order to operate a successful small game company.

Midnight:  Ask Andy Anything – Yep, we mean it. Anything. Absolutely anything! Andy Looney explains the mysteries of life, the universe and everything, at your request.

Sunday, November 9th

2:00 PM - Nanofiction – Nanofiction is an Andy-coined word. It describes extremely short stories, written so that each story contains the following four elements: 1.) a setting, 2.) one or more characters, 3.) conflict, and 4.) resolution. Andy chats about really short fiction in this seminar, explaining this idea, the principles behind it, and how it became an innovative Looney Labs game.
